David SmookeAs part of SmartRecruiters‘ ongoing effort to identify how technology can reduce friction in the the labor market, I spoke with Mike Del Ponte, the Marketing Manager of BranchOut, at the HR Demo Show in Las Vegas. He emphasized that technology (and the wealth of information it can organize) will improve the process of matching the right candidates to the right employers.
“We believe Facebook is the next generation of all networking, whether it is personal networking or professional networking, we believe it will be done on Facebook,” said Del Ponte.
BranchOut, founded by CEO Rick Marini in July 2010, is the largest professional networking service on Facebook.
Mike Del Ponte is the Marketing Manager at Branchout, was the founder of Sparkseed and Conscious Living, as well as, being a renowned public speaker.
